Georgian Edinburgh: a bed and breakfast that's like a 'home from home'.

Great King Street was designed by Robert Reid in 1804 and built about 15 years later - a wide residential street, one of the finest in Edinburgh - elegant in its simplicity.

Jill Robertson's apartment comprises the first floor of Number 80 (the three windows in the middle of the photograph, right), where she welcomes guests for bed and breakfast. These are wonderful rooms: high ceilings, tall windows, original window shutters and fine classical molded plaster cornices. Her apartment is informal, calmingly decorated and quiet, and only 5 minutes walk from Princes Street.

Jill has a business, EH3 homesearch, where she helps people find residential rentals and purchases in Edinburgh. So she knows Edinburgh very well and is always ready to give advice about where to go, what to see or where are the best places to eat (in fact there's an amazing variety of good places to eat within a couple of hundred yards).

If you are looking for the experience of space, light and classical proportions of Georgian Edinburgh, combined with a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere this is the place to stay!
